If you can think of a "thing" you want to add to a map - CRPL it! :) Really fun, well worth the modest, indie pricing and sure to provide many hours of play for those people into Tower Defense or Real Time Strategy games.
The addition of an in-game programming language and image support has allow map makers to add custom units and quite differentiated game play on some maps. As with other aspects of the game, the DMD has been greatly enhanced and creates fun and exciting maps to customize and play - there are almost as many DMD maps uploaded for players to play as there are user-maps.
